RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (April 22, 2009) – R. L. (Lee) Baker has joined Rankin Industries as Director of Sales. Baker is a recognized hardfacing and high alloy welding products expert. He brings worldwide experience to his role at Rankin Industries where he will be responsible for global sales of the full range of Rankin consumables and automation equipment.
Baker’s experience includes serving as Western Regional Manager of Alloy Sales for Lincoln Electric, serving as National and then International Sales Manager for Stellite Alloys – a manufacturer of cobalt-based alloys, and 12 years with Stoody Company where he last held the position of the company’s General Manager of Wear Resistance Alloy Products WRAP Division. He has presented on technical issues in the industry at conferences around the world.
